This was a good purchase for a number of reasons. Obviously, a high capacity battery gives my computer a longer use cycle. But the shape of the battery also provide two extra advantages that the dealer does not mention. 1) the battery pack raises the back of the laptop about 1.5cm. This increases the flow of cooling air into the laptop. 2) when the laptop is closed, and you pick it up, the extra row of batteries provides “something extra” to hang onto. Not really a handle, but it feels like it is a bit less likely to slip out of my hand.I have no bad issues to report.

The battery pack fit great and charged right up. It was a much higher rated amp battery than my old one, but only works for around 3.5 hours of a full charge. Hence why I took out one star. Still works fine for the price.

Battery life is approximately 6 hours unplugged. Because it is 9 cell, battery is a little taller, but that is a plus, because it tilts my laptop forward making it harder to be knocked off a table, and also makes my laptop more ergonomic.
